Yes it works perfectly on this as well but with a mobile version you get the same content set out in a better shape. There is less zooming and its quicker. Helen have you tried looking at say Reptileforum UK on your mobile? The moby version works better than the other one .

Are you the admin of the forum then?
As I've stated time and time again, until the apps required to view a mobile version are FREE, then I will not be adding that functionality to the forum. The software is free to install for the forum, but not for the end user, and since it nags you constantly every time you view the forum via a mobile browser to buy the app, it's a no go. Unwanted adverts are one of the most annoying things on the internet in my eyes, and I'm not willing to ruin the SW experience on the basis of a very small minority of users. I frequently read and moderate the forum on an iPad and iPhone without any issues whatsoever, and see little improvement from use of the app having used similar versions on other forums.

Thanks for that detailed explanation. Some forums are running with add-ons that do not require any app to have been downloaded in order for them to be viewed. Therefore some forums are more easily accessed on a mobile device without any payment required of the user. It's correct that Tapatalk costs £1.69 to download but it's not required for using a lot of forums in mobile mode.
The functionality of the shelled warriors site is second to none. I personally would find it easier to navigate on a smartphone if it was availble in a format designed for one rather than a format designed to be viewed on a desk computer / laptop. I agree the adverts on some sites are a nuisance although most of us become adept at just not seeing them even though they are there. I suspect there will be an app any time soon that is free although as I say a lot of forums are available in a mobile format without any money changing hands or even downloading any additional software. However I will now shut up on this subject! As its been covered more than adequately.
