That's amazing , I have seen a similar thing, and also recently I've seen picture of a sea turtle who's lower jaw/ beek had been injured or taken clean off by a boat ( I think) and some clever people made a new lower jaw/ beek out of titanium and screwed it onto what was left of the jaw ( upper and lower) they kept him in captivity for a few weeks to make sure he could use it and then released him. It really did look bionic, amazing

I have just mentioned this to David and he knew about it. He said he didn't mention it to me as he knew I would be upset....... I am.........but then how wonderful that people have taken the time to help this poor tort and give it a chance...... However, would you not have thought the heat would have caused internal damage x x x xhugs x x x

An amazing story. I also read about the turtle with the titanium lower beak - fantastic what can be done. Heartbreaking to imagine the pain he must have suffered from the fire but it gives great hope for veterinary surgery for the future. Technology is developing so fast.
