Try Fresh Figs !! My red loves them, although I do only give him them now and then
Also try blueberries, raspberries and mango - all go down well here

Cheers Pete, and thanks for the offer. I'll probably be chewing your ear off at the meet. Will be great to meet a "seasoned pro" with the redfoots

when everyone says over ripe what are you meaning? because the other day I stayed round my boyfriends and came back afternoon time to sort the torts and I found one of my reds had fallen asleep under the light so was woken up by the light coming back on and went and started eating the corggette slices I had put in there the morning before so I took it off him, but is this classed as over ripe because if I miss a piece when picking out there leftovers they seem to love eating yesterdays food.

Darren feeds his reds alot of greens and little fruit. This probably why they are eating more greens.

I've just tried them again today with dandelions(leaf and flowers), dead nettle, a little plantain and a couple of campanula flowers, but still no joy. My temps are 88f with 75f under their hide at the other end, and i spray down about 3 times daily with a pump-action spray which is a life saver on the old thumb , I spray under one hide and leave the other dry underneath so they have a choice. They spend much of their time hiding so i take them from their hide and place them in front of their food, one of them had a half-hearted attempt at a dandelion leaf then walked off to hide again, and the other just didn't even attempt. I'm wondering if its a time of re-adjustment for the little guys? as they did come from a large family down to just them two. How long should i leave it for them to eat? I know they are healthy and had the best start in life cos they are from Darren and Chris.
