I.D and origin please (more pics added please confirm)
Hi guys,
The wife and I have been pining for an adult for quite sometime but we wanted a rehomer and a hermanns. Well we managed one of the two. I picked this guy up today, I was expecting a TGI as this is what the previous owner said he was but pretty sure this guy is a TGG. Can someone confirm the subspecies and origin. He's 192mm long and weighs 1483g. He's a least 45 years old. Thanks [/quote] |

Cheers Dan,
Do these guys usually hibernate? I know he's been hibernated every year other than last winter as he had an ear abcess last year so the owner decided not to hibernate him. Jason |

I agree with Darren about the hibernation, you could cause more problems upsetting a normal
routine for him.

thanks all,
I've added some some pics as on the first two the flash fired and his colour isn't as it is, so please could people confirm the id as I have been given two different one's and would like to know what they are in case in the future I get him a friend. I dont know whether the head shots will help but I've included them anyway. Thanks again just want to know for sure what this guy is, also id's said tgg are the moroccans and algerians both tgg or do they have a different subspecies name? Jason |
