'Secure' indoor tortoise tables..ideas please.
Hi everyone
I am hoping someone can help. I am looking for some ideas for an indoor tort table that would be secure against cats. ! When I do eventually become the proud owner of tort/s I would be keeping indoors till next year, but I have two indoor moggies which would need to keep them out. I dont want to take any risks. So am looking for ideas, pics or suggestions please ? Hubby is willing to make me something suitable he just needs ideas. Can anyone help please. Thanks in advance. Deb x |

HI,
The type my borfriend uses would be a good one as it has wire top, that you can secure in place and take of when ever you want!! Heres a pic of his, the wire top was taken off for the photo; And Dazza sells them in his shop Kimbo's here is his link; http://kimbosreptileworld.co.uk/tort...62cm-p-66.html Hope that helps!

I have a wooden home made table, but we have chicken wire across the top, the back is slightly higher so the chicken wire slopes down. (we have a cat too), although so far the cat has shown absolutely no interest but its better to be safe than sorry

If it were me, i would made a wooden frame the same size and the table, and attach 1cm square mesh, tight accross it and put it on hinges, paint it up and itll look great.

Hi I also have a cat, so my husband made me this tort table
And here it is with the wire frame that fits on top. When the frame is not in use, it slides under tort table on two runners and it's out the way
