Default please help me ID... such a noob!

in pre- preperation before i get my torts, i thought i'd take a wander in my front garden and snap a few pics of the common stuff that seems to be growing all around the place. i've been looking through loads of databases but i'm not sure i think maybe...

1) slender plantain?

2) field marigold?

3) ?

4) dandelion?

any help will be greatly appreciated... thanks! Louise

Yes , 3 is a young calendula or pot marigold. There's a fair bit around if you keep looking- we've been lucky this winter

I'd agree with those ID's, can't believe there is so much around and its still only January, although I have been reliably informed that we are due snow (at least in the south) in February so you'd better start sewing weed seeds on your window sills, unless you want to be digging for those weeds

I would be careful with that last one Louise- I wouldn't be at all sure it's antirrhinum, or edible though can't work out what it is.Could be one of the Willowherb types
