Default Tilly layed 5 eggs

Tilly layed 5 eggs on the 30th october and i am so excited as 1 of them is fertile and the baby is growing well. So pleased as i had 13 eggs layed in the summer by my 2 girls and none were fertile. I know its still got a long way till it hatches but things are looking good. Will try and take a photo next weekend and post it on here. I also filmed her when she was laying them it was fantastic was getting a bit worried as she was digging for days and couldnt make up her mind where to lay them. Will keep you posted how things go on.

Thanks i candled the egg last night baby is growing well i tried to take a photo but the batteries in my camera went dead will take a picture next time i candle the egg. I was wondering how often do other tortoise owners candle their eggs as i am abit worried in case i harm the developing baby.

That's great news

Usually 24 hours or less from pipping to completely out of the egg.
