salad question

Hi all. Just been to shops to buy a bag of mixed salad to bulk up with the few weeds i can still get, can anyone tell me if any of the following is a no no before i give them to my spur. Thankyou.
Red Chard
Rocket
Baby spinach
Lollo rosso
Tango?

Oh... so isn't any of it anygood then?? im getting really low on weeds and my indoor ones im growing are only about 3cm big so far?? what are oxolates?? a good thing or bad??

I saw lamb's lettuce and watercress in the co op. also baby leaf salad, don't know whats in it

This one is called baby leaf salad, thats why i got it as heard other people on here using it. is the lollo rosso not good either?

I would ditch the Spinach, small feed the other, i put the supplements on the salad leaves, to add a little balance, some suppermarkets do a Mediterranean mix salad bag, just a name realy, but better leaves, again i take out the Red Chard or Spinach

ok thanks everyone, they wont be fed as main diet but just to go with the few dandelions ive got left until my seed mix gets bigger.

dandelions are actually high in oxalates as well

okay if not every day though

Some foods including dandellions are very rich in calcium and so should not be discarded even though they contain oxalates.

There are so many species of dandellion (over 200 in the UK) all with their own level of oxalates, and even on a specific plant there are different levels in different leaves.

I go with the 'not every day' principle for dandellions but also think they should be included in a weed diet.

I use lambs lettuce to bulk up aswell after Xmas when the frost hits I mix with weeds that have grown. Did read somewhere that there not great but the best thing to bulk out with ?
