Hello....well you all know me by now anyway!!
Hey everyone,
Its yuna1971 here. Or...Rachel really. I live in Bristol, am 37 years old (know I act like a school kid at times!) and have a lovely Ibera who is about 2 and half years old - named Lily. Lily is a male but when I first got him - was told HE was a SHE. Well...the gender may have changed but the name wont - Always will be Lily to me nomatter what. He is my pride and joy and has given me such joy and happiness since he first came into my life. I have had a horrible 2009 and to be honest without having Lily about to channel my thoughts...and love into, I would have been nervous breakdown material! If i have had a crap day at work, guarenteed that when I get home and he runs over to me, it all lifts away and my mind is just focused on me and him. It all sounds kind of sad probably to some, I get funny looks sometimes at work and know they think "god, hasnt she got a life" but Lily wont break my heart, let me down and never intentionally disappoints me. Apart from my family and a few friends - Lily is my saving grace. The heartbeat that keeps me ticking and unconditionally loves me. Lily will always be by my side xxx Thanks for looking folks... xxxxxx |

Hi Rachel,
Welcome to Shelled Warriors. There are quite a few keepers named tortoises and got them the wrong way round, I have a female called Dugand was named before I got her so that has stuck, I also have a male called Jenny who is now knicknamed JJ for JennyJack. Great introduction by the way.
