Tell me about it...I have to think about everything put in front of him. And the silly thing is ...nothing needs to be remotely shaped like another 'tortoise'. I mean butting the brown handle of his hide lid....god almighty. Its like whatever next......
Anyway....the dancing thing, we gotta put our heads together here... |

I think the tort thinks it is being mounted and does this to throw the other "tort" off!! females and males do this ..it is comical to watch though!!

mine does this but even if i tickle Kusu's side she will push into it, like a dog does when you get its ticklish spot. i'mm guessing she likes it otherwise she would run away (i think mine is female but she is still too young to be definate )

Not sure about what you mentioned Scapula...only as I dont even have to touch Lilys 'bottom shell bit' for him to do the wiggle. He will just - left alone - brush up against anything which has a sort of corner, or edge - and then wiggle wiggle away... Outside same.
Not all the time mind you but he does it himself, and if I tickle. |

maybe they just want a scratch somehow then ... Its the top of the shell at the back that seems to trigger mine.. they stand up with back legs and sway from side to side is that what you are seeing?
