Default Slight breathing problem maybe

Hey all

I have two 6 month margies. One when in the water or held makes a slight squicking noise. He opens his mouth a little to make the noise. Has been happy drinking but also blows out a few bubbles now and then.

Other one is fine and also should add both eating fine.. think could be anything or?

When my Marginated baby came home, I noticed exactly the same as you have with your baby Marginated. I believe it is down to stress - the journey, strange environment, handler, food etc.

I have kept my table (rabbit cage) on the dry side - especially under her basking lamp - but she does have a humid hide which I keep warm at night with a 25watt red lightbulb shining onto it, which she chooses to sleep in every night. I have also upped my daytime temperatures so that she is on the hot side of warm! Baths once a day - I always make sure her nose is dried afterwards.

She has her weeds damp to help keep her hydrated.

Touch wood, the runny nose is nearly better now but it does mean keeping her temps up!

It is very upsetting and worrying when problems arise so early on but please try not to worry, I'm sure all will be well.

Anna

Hello Adam, my young lady is six months old

Not long now until it will be warm enough for youngsters to go outside - sunshine and fresh air, can't wait
