Hermanns weight

I have had my hermanns since nov2017.
I weighed and measured her on the 1/12/17 and she was 85mm 117g

She was weighed/measured again on the 1/1/18 87mm 141g
Was she underweight when I got her or do you think she has put too much weight on?

1 - 2 2 - 3 grammes each month is ideal, You don't say age but probably that length maybe around 2 years old. ? if so weight prob ok but weight gain a bit too fast, though hard to tell because she could have full bladder and stomach etc. keep an eye , and on food intake for now, CB

Yes 2 years old. Not sure if she was underweight when I got her in Nov 17

I would say a little at that length but nothing to worry about too much, probably why she has piled it on. Again nothing to worry about as I think she will slow down a bit now as that weight gain in a month is quite a lot, but probably you are treating her and if she hasn't had much in the past then taking the opportunity. Photos always welcome too ! Hermanns are a very pretty tortoise, CB
