Oh Alan ... how worrying. This reminds us of the serious side of snow and bad weather which can have traumatic results. Hope your son is ok and take care up there.

thanks everybody. he's been discharged after x-rays and stuff. he's only got a cut hand and bruising and muscular injuries. the car is a write off though I think

the back end started to swing and when he tried to straighten it up it went the other way, slid off the road and rolled on the roof and just kept sliding into the hedge. he was upside down, trapped in by the seatbelt. just as well it didn't go on fire or owt. makes you think though, seatbelts could be a killer as well as a life saver

Thank goodness he is ok Alan, I agree seatbelts are not always that good an idea. I know the car is a loss but as long as your son is ok thats what matters

Oh i'm so glad to hear he's ok. Must have been an awful journey to the hospital for you. Can't imagine how scary that was.

So pleased for you he's not seriously injured x
