Constipation? Or stone?
My little one Dandelion went to the vet last week as she is a bit off her food. The vet was happy with her on examination but we're doing a faecal screening. Thing is, she won't poo! I've been giving her long baths every day, changing the water, but not a sausage (excuse the mental imagery..).
It must have been nearly a week now since I've seen anything. Today she passed a small amount of gritty urates. I am wondering if she is either constipated or might need to pass a stone? Any advice anyone?

All I can suggest Hazel is to completely cut out the dandies for a few weeks and bathe 3 times a day for 20mins, warmish water. Try adding fibrous weeds, i.e plantain to her diet and some cucumber for a bit of added water.

Thank you Bindi, I will attempt some more baths today.
While I don't feed dandies too often i suspect it might be the cause; she is off her food but cannot resist a dandy flower. Perhaps she ate that a couple of times but left anything else. I have started to give bits of cucumber. Fingers crossed!

No she is not straining as far as I can see.
She is eating every day but not that much, she will have a few bites and wander off, and she will only eat certain things (usually the 'junk food' i.e. i gave her a small piece of cucumber last night and she wolfed it) whereas normally she eats most things. I think she is eating enough to expect a poo by now, but who knows.
