Nearly there
Do you remember when it was so hot you could dip your toes in a bowl of cold water and not whimper with the chill ...when Lettuce would eat ice cream (I mean lime biscuits (I had to take a second glance!) and not try and bite me or the daisies, well we are nearly here. Spring is coming. some old shots to make you smile.

Gorgeous, Clare. Just what we all need - a reminder that spring is coming...isn’t it?

Wonderful pictures Clare is that Beau in one of them? Went to the BCG symposium yesterday and when that's on it's always a sign that spring is on it's way. A very good day with excellent speakers. xx

thank you
Yes that's Beau, M , she is my baby I love her to bits and she has really grown too , quite heavy now but still so so so sirene, she stays in a swimming pool - without the swim bit and water - over night in the hall way because she isn't keen on the night lamps, CB

Beau certainly has grown she looks splendid. My margies are off to their new home on Monday which will be very sad as I have raised two of them over 29 years but it is for the best as our house is now under offer so we will be on the move if all goes through!

Love your pictures Clare, beautiful. Heard there's going to be a British heatwave earlier, three months! But don't know if its fake news?!

[QUOTE=CherryBrandy;676796]You are so brave, that's a long time and you have been so kind to so many people over the years I am sure the new owners will have years of pleasure so that's a good thing, but must be sad. Literally for you pastures new then !
Thanks for your kind words Clare yes they have gone to a fantastic new home so that's a relief. Most of my Hermanns will be going in a couple of weeks or so to someone else from Wiltshire Tortoise which will leave me with a few small groups of elderly torts I have had for a very long time. Will still have my Browns of course and it will be a new chapter before we get too old to do it! Initially we hope to rent close by before we decide where we actually want to go to. All tortoises now up and enjoying the weather. xx |
