Slow eater
So Pythagoras (6 months old) is quite funny when he tries to eat - just bites the air for ages before he finally makes contact with the food! Amazingly despite this he is putting on weight just fine!

I have one tort who does this to start with but she does have a little sight impairment. Once started though, she eats fine and I admit to guiding her to the food and then she tucks in.
I have to agree with Clare, that’s one heck of a pile of food for the little one. Surely he doesn’t eat it all?

soooo cute - personally I would put some in her mouth so she gets the hang of low lying fruit as opposed to it being high up , nice cute little tortoise ! CB
