i'm in dorset.
I tried putting more pics on, but without success. I think i must have to start a new thread? I'll do thar when i get a minute. . . They are awesome creatures. I've had hermans & spur thighs all my life, but always had a real interest in the giant breeds. I've got a herd of sulcatas & a few aldabras & am really glad i went down that route - the big guys are very rewarding . . . . And challenging at times!! They are a life long commitment, but it's interesting to see them develop & grow & a priviledge to be their custodian for part of their life - after all, if i'm lucky enough to be around for say another 50 years, these guys will still only be in their middle age!! (assuming all goes well) would be interested to meet anyone else who keeps the giants |

Hi. Great tort. I have 4 friends here in east anglia who keep these. They dont come on here ofter but are sometimes on facebook , norfolk tortoise club group.

Very cool. They are not exactly everywhere here in the US, although we have a sizable number of keepers, myself included. I imagine they are relatively rare in the UK, considering the cost of land and the weather. Good on you.
