How's my Tortoise table?
Just getting set up, I'd appreciate your feedback as I've never had a Tort before. It seems a little bare to me, although I haven't put the cave in yet and I still have the lamp to fit overhead.
I have filled the water dish up so some stones are slightly submerged and some a sticking above the water, do you think this is okay? Should I add more stones so there are no spaces? I think it could do with more soil, it's about 3 inches deep at the moment. Any suggestions on how to liven it up a bit? |

That looks great! If I was a tort, I'd definitely want to live there!

Looks good already, you would make some more hides and lay some slate out for the tort to eat off and keep their beak sharp. You can get free samples from
www.direct-stone-tiles.com/tiles/slate I got this link from SW and ordered some, they're great and free so can't be bad to that!! Good luck!

I ordered two samples, I feel really bad taking them for free knowing that I have no plans to actually buy anything from them
Thanks for the link though. I'm going to order some plug plants from the SW shop, maybe grow them bigger and then plant some in the table. |

It's only 4 foot long, I wouldn't mind a friend for him but I don't think 4 foot is big enough for two. His name is still Bruce, funny thing is he doesn't do owt when I call him but when my Mum says his name he runs up to the side to see her
