His appointment went ok but she was concerned that he has lost about 200grams and suggested me feeding him more. I am a bit confused as I thought that losing a bit of weight would be a good sign? (less excess growth hormone maybe?) George has got very big since having this and as he only has one front leg I would rather he wasn't too heavy
The doctor he saw is a cancer specialist and although she is fantastic, I have emailed Georges consultant at the veterinary college in Hertfordshire to see what she thinks as she is doing trials on Acromalgaly. I spoke to her last week and did his curve today as planned. Unfortunately he did not go below 24 but I am still positive as he has been much higher than this previously. Going to book him into my vets for a fructosamine test one day next week

Spoke to Georges consultant and she put my mind at ease She said that she is not at all worried about Georges weight loss and it's now just a case of sitting tight and waiting for things to happen
