I have a small pet case now, I'll put something in the bottom and take a tea towel to cover it in the car and travel with it on my lap. He's driving as I'll be heavily dosed with painkillers to survive the journey.
My amazing Mr has finished the enclosures, they look great, aluminium trims to the table and the outside one has 2 hinged lids and a shelf for plant pots.
It feels like Christmas eve!

I'm now have torts! Just got back with two beautiful babies. Lovely to meet the breeder, who also happens to be on here, some great advice and also very reassuring to know my research has been paying off.
They are in their table but hiding in the hides, will get photos once they have settled.

Yay - congratulations. Enjoy them and once you get around to taking photos and they have official names, we'd love to know.

I bet you will be spending all of your time watching them now - alot of people can't believe how much time you can watch a tortoise for until you actually have them and then it is all you want to do

Yes, complete time-wasters, but a wonderful way of spending time.

Photos are on their way!! I can't stop watching them... although have tried too leave them alone a bit more today to see if one of them would come out the hide, seems to have worked... now just need to see if they will eat something.
