Default tomato plant

can my hermanns eat leaves of my tomato plants, im growing them in my greenhouse and they smell so nice, wondered if it is ok for him to have the odd leaves off the plant

Tomatoes and potatoes are related to the nightshade plants that are toxic. So leaves of either are not to be fed.

i read a story some time ago about a village in a country with native torts,when the tomato season was over the folks threw all the tom. plants onto a big heap,the torts then came from all over for a feast.

Interesting story insight, without looking up just about alway's thougtht that Tommyarto plant;s leaves were toxic to, at least human's.
