Default Rehydrating

Does anyone have any tips for improving torts' hydration? I saw a reptile vet yesterday and one of the issues highlighted is that he has some signs of dehydration. She recommended using re-hydration sachets and said that the 'human' sort are suitable. After about an hour running around today trying to find non-blackcurrant flavoured sachets, I finally have some and plan on using 1 sachet in 1 of his (2 or 3, at present) baths a day. Is there anything else I can do other than this?

No - but at present it is quite wet anyway as he was only recently cleaned out. Is that recommended then?

Just before Christmas one of my young ones became very dehydrated and consequently very constipated , she nearly died, but I got her back from the brink by bathing several times a day for nearly 2 weeks and because she was constipated I also gave her several warm water enemas a day,( you don't need to do that) and keep the soil moist don't let it dry out.i now bath her every other day without fail, also try spraying the food with water so it's moist , it all helps to get water into them, try wet food like cucumber. Hope this helps.

Pellets soaked in water are a good way to get water into torts. Also wet any weeds you give.

I was just wondering what are the signs that a tortoise may be dehydrated? Also don't some species need dry areas too? Thanks.
