Default Sick Tilda

Tilda had a visit to the vets yesterday and it was not good news. She has a very high count of worms, but the vet was also concerned about her breathing.

I've got to watch her breathing over the next few days and see if it's labored, if it is I've got to take her back for more anti-biotics. She is also been wormed and I've got to take her back in two weeks for another dose.

She did wake up on her own this morning, which is the first time in months!

Lee, silly question but it was an exotics vet was it? And not a normal cat/dog/small animals one? xx

Lee, same question as Rach, and also why was the vet concerned about her breathing? Has she got a runny nose, is she making a noise when she breaths in and out? How can you tell if a tort has laboured breathing? Just wondering.

It was a tortoise expert? http://www.manorvets.co.uk/exotic-pets/ was the vet I went to. No idea, she has a little bit of a running nose, but the breathing I'm not so sure about? It's only when you pick her up and then It calms down? Nope, she makes no noise at all.

Ok lee , sounds like she needs the antibiotics, hope she gets better soon and the breathing thing isn't anything too serious .
