just tried a weed heavy mix, with a little lettuce mixed in... they took one sniff and went to bed :/ stubborn little things!!!! ill get hunting in the morning...hopefully there will be less snow! :P

Oh yes they are stubborn buggers. Before christmas Phoebe and Daisy loved butternut squash as a treat but now they wont bloody stuff the stuff!!! Arrrghh!

i gave them lambs lettuce, red leaf lettuce, slender plantain, dandelion and soaked grass pellets today all mixed up. Swarley ate quite a lot, but sheldon turned his nose up, though quite often he will eat in the morning.

got some new weeds to add tomorrow, is this better? Louise

I give the florette crispy salad that has frisee, lambs lettuce and endive in.

Great to give Plantain, lots of fibre in that.

Rowan a member on here had a post about plantain and clover dried mix you can get in pets at home, you can soak that and chop it up for them. Wilkinsons also do a dandelion dried mix.

Thanks Lynne, ill get some florette at the weekend. there is plantain all over my garden so thats good and plenty of dandelion though i wont feed every day. im going to raid some family gardens soon... haha. Louise

update... all pancakes have been lettuce free for 2 weeks now, the only one sulking a bit is Sheldon but he is eating the weeds when he is hungry. Success!!!
