no not really torts can live fine alone if not better .. but if u would like to get him a lady friend that is totally up to u but it is not needed. hope that helps luv becks xxxxxxxxx |

It's not a necessity unless you're trying to breed obviously! He's just checking to make sure everything works should the opportunity present itself.

Hi welcome to the forum.
To introduce them you would first need to find a female of a similar age. She would have to be in quarantine for about 6 months before they could be put together though.
