Grasses for indoor

Hi

Does anyone know of a good grass that would survive in an indoor tortoise enclosure?

I tried this with normal grass from B&Q it worked well I had it by the window and watered it every day. Then I went on exercise for 2 weeks and it was all dead plus I had an outbreak of small fly’s the wife ordered me to get rid of the grass. Never looked back lol
