Moved to a Flat :(
Hello everyone
Its been a while since I was on here due to personal reasons. I have recently moved and have had to move into a flat and as my ex has agreed to me keeping the tortoises due to him not having the time to look after them properly I now have them, however Im in a flat and likely to be here for about a year. Currently my Hermanns are in a 4 x 2 table indoors with a megaray bulb and heater. (Although the megaray bulb is looking like its on the way out). I dont have much space in order to make their table much bigger but I feel theyve outgrown their current one. Any advice on what I can do to optimise my current situation? Im thinking maybe build the table upwards so it has different levels? What size table are your little guys in? What bulbs are the best these days? Also, any ideas on houseplants I can grow that they'll eat? Thanks for all your help. x

I also live in a flat, so to save space I built (or had built...) a table with split levels, made it it 6x2.5 foot, and has 2 foot worth of upper levels and that seems to have worked for us, but we are lucky to have a good sized living room...
I would say that having split levels is probably the way to go! |

My sisters OH made it for me and was £75, but that was just for the wood, he didn't charge me for labor.

Great thank you. I guess I need to look out for a local carpenter then
I dont have a great deal of room so cant match your sizing, what sort of size is acceptable for 2 Hermanns age 3-4?
