Hes a lovely tortoise! Even though hes got a bit of a deformed shell I think hes lovely. Now I think hes a THB rather than a THH. I say this going off the plastron shot as with the carapace being a little deformed its hard to tell from that. Lets see what everyone else thinks

hi
this is my first attemp at id ing a tort i think it is a Thb because the pectoral seam appears to be longer than the femoral seam on the picture although the picture is a bit fuzzy for me to be sure |

Good job Pete and Linda . You both got it and Linda is exactly right the pectoral seam is larger then the femoral seam Which tells you boettgeri all the way.

hi dan but wouldnt it be thh as the colouring on the plastron is much darker than a thb and the shell is darker aswell????
just asking dosent matter!

No definately not a hermanni hermanni. If you look here http://forums.shelledwarriors.co.uk/...pic.php?t=1111 you will see a classic hermanni hermanni. This shows typical plastron markings of Hermanni Boettgeri. Heres a shot of the plastrons of my group of THBs

so after studying these very hard i am right in saying that T.T'S babys are THB's
i got this by no key hole at their back on T.T's pictures |
