Hi Star (sorry i don't know your name)

The door thing is a gap as it used to be 2 tables but we lost wiggle (Rip)
so we just cut a gap through so that she had the hole table. Then we tae her outside to her outside enclosure

I will try and get some better plastron pics

Thanks so much
Kirsty

Sorry to hear about wiggles

It's Marie

I think you have most things covered, it could just be a case of scratching but they do look short.

Its something to mention to the vets...as long as the housing is in order, which it seems to be perfect, and the calcium and vitamins are all in order? Then I am not to sure why her nails are as short as they are.

The Vet should be able to help you much more than I can....How long have you had your tortoise for?

She has limestone everyday on her food then nutrobol every 2 days aswell. Then she has a bowl of limestone and a cuttlefish in her enclosure.

We have had solo about 2 years now she doesn't seem to be growing either alot really which will be another thing i'll get my mom to mention to the vet. Was telling mom that Hannah has moved to cannock with is only an extra 25 mins drive from us so were going to try and get her in but if not it will be 4:30 monday

What weeds are you feeding?.....if Solo isnt developing then yes, thats a concern and definitely something to mention, but try not to worry, you seem to be doing everything right yourself and I am sure the vets will be able to figure out the problems (if any).

Your tortoise looks lovely by the way

Everything sounds fine.....you are doing a great Job and once you get to the vets you will feel much better.....

I would recommend keeping a record chart of weight and size gain, this helps to identify any health issues that sometimes are not visible.

I weigh and measure mine once every week and jot it down in a diary book specially designed for them.

It also helps if they need to go to the vets, and you can give them an overview of their development

Hi everyone,

Well it all went well. Hannah is loverly and we would highly recommend her. She thinks that she may have just caught it and to bath her as usual every day and use povidine (sp) and scrum her foot with it to stop infection. Also Hannah gave solo an injection incase there are any infections. We had a poo sample tested and the first test was all clear just got to wait for the results for the second. Will keep everyone updated

Thanks for all your help everyone
kirsty
