Thanks danny i was just looking through some old pictures and you can see a total different color to her legs from the past they used to a yellowy color. I thought there must be something wrong as they don't just fall of

I'm just of out now to the chemist to get some bandages and betadine will let you know how i get on

Sorry danny another question you probably won't know but i was just wondering what the vet would suggest to treat it? Is it curable if it is an infection? Just to settle my worries a little

It all sounds right so I am not to sure? If you could post up a picture of the inside then that would be helpful

If the infection is in the leg, then you will need to have her checked to determine how the infection started.
Would you be able to post a picture of the underneath of the shell, just to check what colour it is, as if it is an infection that has spread, then you may be able to identify it from the plastron colour.

It might just help you to figure out whats going on until you get to the vets. It could easily be an infection that started at the toe, where she may have banged it and its become infected and caused the toe to fall out

Should get a topical antibiotic and an oral/injectionable antibiotic. That should cover all the things that could be going on.

Thanks i will get a picture of the inside of her enclosure and the underside of her shell. I was just wondering until i could get her to the vets. We tried another exotic vets but they didn't even answer there closed.

I went to the chemist and they gave us savlon - dry antiseptic spray (povidone iodine) you just spray it on hope thats ok?

Heres some pictures excuse the bandage as it was just a quick one and i put the tape over it to help hold it on and the bandage has got little holes so it will stop the dirt getting in

Under her shell (sorry but its a bit dirty)

Her other legs

Sorry the pictures haven't turned out to well

The spray is fine. Just make sure to use it just once a day till you get to the vets. Than not at all, as the iodine will prevent healing.

Hi

The housing looks fine, in the first pic, their is a door which leads out, is that the garden enclosure?

The plastron shots are a little fuzzy, not to worry, when you go to the vets they will check her, if your still concerned then maybe a better picture?

I do wish her all the best, bless I hope shes feeling on top form soon

i would not bandage it, but let the air to it, take her off the soil and bed her on either a towel or newspaper { keeping it clean } until you have seen the vet
