oh I don't know Hannah ive never seen that before, is it definitely a growth and not how its grown. I would say probably ok unless it hinders. CB

It is definitely growth. It didn't used to be there.
I was wondering whether I should try to tie a cotton around it like we would do with a verruca or skin tag, hoping that it would fall off, but I don't want to cause him any pain and at the moment it doesn't seem to cause him any discomfort. mmm the 'ol cotton trick...don't they do that with sheep too ! I would probably leave it ! ...never seen that before so someone maybe can advise further, CB

It looks like another spur that has grown if so I would leave it if it were me.

Maybe the tortoise has identity crisis. It thinks that it is a dragon (the one from fairy tales) and therefore should have two tails. Let's wait until it finds out that dragon should also have three heads!
