I'm reading a high of 64F or 18C... which is pretty cool... relatively speaking.

Why would I lie? I just want Horace to eat
Plus Horace as not hid, he as been walking all over his hid all day today!!
I'm not saying you're lying... you clearly have a very sunny sheltered garden.

However that high temperature is undoubtedly responsible in part for Horace's inactivity. He needs it a little cooler!

I don't think it's 105F... unless... it is in a coldframe or hot house.

I believe something is wrong with your temperature measuring device.

Thank You
Because the maximum recorded temperature in the UK today by the Met Office is 23C in Nottingham.

You do get hot spots in small areas where there is direct sunshine and it is completely sheltered which can make thermometers read very high.

Equally, your thermometer may not be entirely accurate.

The hottest ever temperature in the UK was recorded at 38.5C in Faversham, not far from me, back in the summer of 2003.

I stand by my statement that, in the UK, temperatures do not reach 40C unless it is in a very sheltered sunny spot.

I stand by the temp of 41c at around 3pm. So I know you are wrong. The weather station I bought cost me over £74 pounds.
Horace is the problem and I don't care about your so called temps.
But thank You again, Horace has you say might be too hot.

I have no problem agreeing to disagree but if you correct the temperatures at either end and you are wrong it is only going to compound the problem.

The only other explanation... you're in your own little pocket of hell.
