Lights off
I have noticed that Horace now does not get up when I put the lights on at 7am. The little sod gets up around 7.30am and goes to bed at around 4.pm. Why should I leave his lights on until 7.pm?
I am now turning Horace's lights off when he goes to bed. Saves money What do you guys do? |

I used to leave it on but mine never resurface well not the younger ones so now i turn it off but suppose it still does provide abit of warmth if you leave it on

Some mornings our lad (Ernie) is waiting under the heat lamp ready to be turned on!!!
Today he did the same, I turned him on at 8am, he then warmed for an hour and proceeded to clomp around his table loudly until I got him out. He wanders the house most days, he has his favourite spots, he then went in the garden and grazed, got wet so went in his hut, came in for a bath and is now in the kitchen mooching around! Lately I have been turning his light off when he goes to bed, but the other night he got up again, I was like "Wtf is he doing up this late" !!!!! |

i do a 9 am turn on and a 9pm turn off for most of that they are in there hide at the cool end . but i leave it on because i guess it provides the extra warmth even at the cooler end.

I usually leave mine on as I want them to still think it's the height of a Med summer - till the OH sees the leccy bill anyway
