Any tips on where to get a good bargain for coco coir? I bought some online but I'd like to try and find a good deal in a shop so I don't have to worry about delivery etc. I've heard home bargains but can't see any on their website?

Definitely in all Home Bargain stores, especially the larger ones. They do a bag with two blocks in 50L for £1.79. It's the cheapest I have ever seen it. Failing that in Poundstretcher they have a bag of it already loose (no need for the watering) for £3. Not massive but worth it.

Oh wow... I'm definitely shopping in the wrong places for mine! I must ask him to take me to Home Bargains.

I had been buying in Pet Shops for ages then stumbled up on in HB. The price difference is astounding to say the least. I also get my Limestone Flour from a Horse suppliers place near where I live. The biggest bucket you've ever seen for £7!
