Soggy doggy

My daughter brought her dogs round today and the little one came in from the garden looking like this.

When we looked outside we saw this. foot prints coming from the pond.

It's a good job it's only a tiny pond.

That little trail of wet foot prints went through my conservatory, into my dining room and continued through the lounge. She was shivering after that and had to be wrapped up to warm her. she's not big enough to generate her own heat. Don't know if she'll ever get bigger, she never seems to have grown when we see her. She's so tiny but full of character and so independent.

That was Lola, she hasn't got a name now, Lola wasn't right for her apparently, it may be Daisy.

She's fine Emma. She has had her injections now but the vet wont microchip her as she is too small. I don't think she will ever be a full sized Maltese.

After seeing how cold she was I thought I would knit her a coat for winter. Her measurements are 16cm neck, 22cm chest and 20 cm long. I can't find a pattern small enough so I'm going to have to make one up.
