My snakes

I have four snakes, all different breeds. It's rather hard to juggle a snake and take photos on a touch screen phone at the same time, so they're not the best snake photos you'll ever see, but they'll do for now.

Valera the Miami Corn snake. She was our first snake, I remember bringing her home in a tiny Chinese takeaway box. She was no bigger around than my shoe lace.


Righ the Royal(UK) or Ball(USA) Python. He's my fat lump. I got him as a tiny worm who wouldn't eat, so the fact that he's now a big, strong lump of muscle is fantastic. He's my baby and I love his little puppy face.


Teannach the Boa Constrictor, he's still a juvenile, no where near full grown yet. He's still a lot bigger than he was when we got him at 6 weeks old though.


And Nathair Mor, the Texas Yellow Rat snake(probably). He was a rescue. Someone had him in a viv with an unguarded heat lamp, and fed him live prey so he had burns and bites and scars. It's taken about 5 years to get him completely okay with being handled, he still does a weird muscle tense thing for the first few minutes though.
