Default Weight gain

How much weight should my leo put on per month as I am a little worried she is gaining too much'
She is 9 years old ,grazing on grass and weeds, has free run of the lawn,
When I got her in may this year she weighed 1.992kg (approx 4ld 6 1/4oz) now she is 2.222kg (4 ld 14 3/4oz)
I also give her Nutrobal and limestone flour sprinked on her food twice a week .
thanks

Jane

hi Jane unless she is growing a lot bigger at the same time, her weight gain may well be a sign of an improvement in her general health.what straight carapace length is she and do you have a picture of her.although she should still be growing the weight you quote seems some way off adult size.

hi Jane, she looks lovely .a little pyramidded but i have seen a lot worse.it sounds like she is in an ideal situation with you and will continue to go from strenth to strength.please dont be to concerned with her putting on too much weight,im sure its your excellent feeding regime and the oppurtunity to graze that is doing it.any thoughts or concerns dont hesitate to contact me and for now keep up the good work.

With that kind of diet you should have no concern for her weight gain. It will probably slow down in the cooler months.

As long as she is aqctive and growing there should be no noted problems.
