Default Ibera info please...:)

hey again,

I've been offered a 13 month old ibera but am a bit scared of big tortoises so need a bit more advise haha!!

I've done loads of research and think I know what I'm doing but I wandered if anyone has any pictures of their adult's with a human or something as a size guide of how big he will really get? we have loads of space for him I just want to check he's not going to be unmanageable really!

Hi, if your talking ibera, they grow to around 9 inches, if your talking sulcata, then they grow to around 3ft.ibreas are great animals and would highly recomend them.

i'm not sure really...I'd love a sulcata but they just seem so unmanageable sometimes...like right now Kreacher is outside in a 4ft square box on the lawn until her enclosure is secure but obviously with a big one there not so easy to deal with...??
and in the winter i'm not sure what to do with them because they would be massive in my little country cottage haha!
He has spur thigh on his purchase invoice?

Hope this helps...a picture of my 15 year old Med spur Thigh (Ibera) with my cat. The tort is more or less fully grown and so is the cat.
