Default Hertfordshire Hatchlings?

I'm based in Hertfordshire and am looking for a Med hatchling. Was considering driving to Basildon Wilton pets as they seem to be closest shop - but was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere closer?

Thanks

Mim.

stay away from WILTONS...... they are bad news and the conditions theyre torts are in is BAD.....

If you want one from a shop try Japanese Koi Carp in Bedford (Henlow)

Thanks for that advice - and Henlow is very much closer for me. I'm not in love with the idea of using a shop and would much rather find a breeder - but so far all I have seen on the "For Sale" section are a very long way. Hoping someone see's this thread... Thanks for your reply.

Your welcome,

I think torts from shops are ok, as long as you check the vitals and make the best at home in conditions that best suit your tortoise. A lot of people have them from shops and theyre torts are just fine.

Good luck

Hi,

It's a little out of your way but I can recommend Barbara Ashford who's details can be found on the attached link.

I got the train up from London for some of Barbara's tortoises. Well worth the extra miles.
