Wickes Top Soil
Wickes at the moment are selling 5bags of 25L top soil for £12. Is this soil any good?

Well B&Q are selling their top soil for 35l at £3.48 a sack.........Im not going to do the maths for you.........but I can tell you I think theirs is very good(B&Q) and is also sterilised,Don't know anything about wicks Topsoil.

i find B&Q's really terrible - goes very stoney and seems to be full of hair !
I use Homebase's now which is nice and sandy and keeps fluffy

I prefer the soil from homebase too, I tried B&Q for a while,as said it's hairy(!), and I found quite a large piece of glass in one sack

im using B&Q topsoil to grow my weeds in as im still waiting to get my tort and its so fll of stones more like grit than soil :s x

never tried wickes but sounds like a good amount for £12! wish I'd of known earlier, i bought mine from focus yesterday, but it was Levingtons 20L for £3.50, good stuff! x
