Default 2 hermans died within 24 hours

still trying to get over last week. the worst week of my life.
my two beloved hermans aged 6, been hybinating in my fridge for 6 weeks and all going well, last wed checked on them and one was dead, i emeadiatly took the other out and started to get him round, he was very slow to react and gasping for air , i left him in the warm over night but, unfortunatly he did not make it.
i am searching for some answers as i just cant leave it like this, anyones thoughts would be welcome.
thanks jon

Hello

Firstly I'm really sorry to hear your terrible news, I lost a Hermann's in hibernation at the start of the month. You're probably going to get asked the same questions so have a look at my "think I've lost Dozer" thread to give you a head's up on what to expect question wise.

First thing that springs to my mind is how did you hibernate them. Were they in a fridge?

Is there any possibility that it was a problem with the fridge? Could it have got too cold, or leaked coolant (potentially toxic if it's an old fridge).
I've sent you a private message too, few more questions.
