Talking Ventriloquism!

While I am hawking my new children's novel (now called 'Tortoise Soup') around publishers - a looong, slow process, I have decided that I need a new hobby! (My tortoise keeping isn't a hobby, it's a way of life).

My new hobby is ventriloquism! I have a great book called 'Learning Ventriloquism The Easy Way' and I've got to say that it is quite easy - there are only 5 difficult letters! I practise every night and I'm getting better and better.

Here is a picture of my 'dummy' Sheldon:

Have any of you guys n gals ever tried ventriloquism? You don't see enough vents on tv now, but I recommend Nina Conti - she is really funny (if a little rude)

Sheldon is awesome! I have never tried ventriloquism myself but I do love to watch it. And I agree Nina Conti is fantastic, loved the episode of QI she was on with "Granny".
