Default Harry Potter Studios - Watford

Hi Everyone,

My lovely partner drove me from Cornwall to Watford and back in a day so I could see the studio's of Harry Potter. As most of you know I am a huge fan, but even he enjoyed the day.

It is incredible the amount of work that went into their productions with 1000's upon 1000's of props it really was a eye opener.

From the model of Hogwarts which was so impressive to the art work, and scale models the detail was just truly amazing.

I took over 500 photos but obviously I don't want to bore you all, if you would like to have a look at just 104 of them please follow the link to my photobucket page: http://s831.photobucket.com/user/Mca...?sort=2&page=1

For you who don't want to see that many, I have put a few on here

Thanks for looking

Sara

Sara, it looks fantastic!
We've contemplated going a few times as my husband's cousin works for the company and especially on the project within HR. She has worked long hours for quite a few years now!! It just seemed a long way to go to just see the HP set when there are plans to develop the studios even more in the future. So we thought we'd wait, but it does look wonderful. I'm going to enjoy browsing through your photos.

I'd go as it is too, but with six of us plus the cost of the diesel, it's quite expensive. That's the only thing stopping us going to see it as it is. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. It really does looks so much fun to be walking down Diagon Alley!

It is expensive i'll give you that, and the gift shop isn't cheap......I was tempted by a wand but it would just be put in the drawer and for £25 just couldn't justify it.

Dave bought me this instead:

Ooh, nice! Are you going to frame it? Where will you hang it?

Yes going to frame it hopefully tomorrow. Will probably put it in the hall as needs to stay away from the light
