Default Hurricane

I hope all our american members are ok with the hurricane on its way? its looks horrible, we are so lucky that we don't get them in the uk.

Its awful isnt it, and Yes we are Lucky we dont get anything like that, i remember when i was younger we had a hurricane when i lived in London, knocked trees down and everything, but nowhere near like they have got it.

When i went to Porto colom in majorca 23 years ago we had a hurricane there, knocked the electricity out for a week, cooles we had to walk in up to our knees, we had to eat aeroplane food i had to carry my son around WHO was 2 then as he couldnt walk in it, beach was washed away, cars washed down the beach, 7 people were killed, it wasnt a good holiday as you can imagine x

Got a bit more windy (plenty of brussel sprouts ) and knocked some small branches down in my back garden but nothing bad. Power went out for a bit, but thats back on now too. So all good here still.
The only person I can think of in the path of the storm would be Chris (hermannichris23) in New Jersey.

I saw on the news at lunch time that New Jersey has taken a direct hit, hope Chris and all his torts are ok.
