I got two hatchlings a few months ago, EJ. They were mainly fed on garden peas, not the guys fault. He's a top bloke to be fair. Anyway, I've not given them peas, although it took four days before the little buggers would touch the weeds and grass. However, they're not into the pellets at all. Won't even look at them. Bit worried they have slight pyramiding as well. Can I sort that out now I'm doing it all right?

What are the environmental conditions you have them in now? What exactly are you feeding them? Most tortoise can take weeks to settle in. Some can take months to settle in and others my never settle in unless the contitions they are used to can be duplicated.
You would be doing you and the tortoise a favor by getting them to take pellets such as Mazuri or NutraZu a couple times a week. You can mix a fruit babyfood such as mango or banana or strawberry with the moistened diet. Feed this with the greens or on off days. Quote:

Table top set up, basking bulb, separate UV bulb, not a strip. Hide area with moss in, dampened daily. John Innes Number 1 compost for substrate, Limestone flour, Nutrabol..............soak them twice a day, once a week in Abidec which has really done wonders I have to say! They'll be one at the end of March.
I'll try that with the babyfood tomorrow. See how they go. Although getting it is going to be a pain in the arse cos they only sell the adult one, can I not use that? |

Took them about a week to settle, I think being younger may be a factor. I'm feeding them blended grass and hay sprinkled over Plaintain, Dandelion, Vetch, Sow Thistle, usual weeds really. Tried pumpkin flowers which my other Torts love but they turned their noses up!

What do you mean by the 'adult' one?
Sounds like you got it pretty much under control. Temperatures? Quote:

It's around 29 to 30.
On the pellets it says for adult Tortoises. Mine aren't one yet, so I didn't bother. My friend gave me some of the one she had to try, but like I said, they were having none of it! |

Damn... why would you say that? I'm only looking for information to give you an informed opinion.
Grassland is a great commercial diet that fills the need of the fiber part. It doesn't do much for the more important nutrients. If you made a mash out of the Grassland and... say... Mazuri/NutraZu/Mazuri Grassland... you'd have what I think would be a perfect diet.
