Default Prorep Tortoise Life

I've got a Russian Tort and i'm looking to try a new substrate
and seen my local exotic shop stocks Prorep Tortoise Life, what i want to know is how do i use it?
As far as i can see in the packet it comes in its dry, do i soak this/ or keep it dry?

Be careful with this, seen a few reports of torts eating this & getting impacted

It,s much cheaper getting bags of top soil from home base, wickets or B and Q! Better for them as well, I tried that stuff last year and found it gets very dry quickly.
I just use the tops oil now with loads of coco coir on top where they dig down for the night.

Your tortoise might surprise you once it has a substrate to dig down into.

I use topsoil but don't use coco coir, a couple of my horsfields don't dig down but prefer to lay on top or under a hide x

i use coco coir the now might try a mixture of topsoil

Mines doesnt dig but i try to encourage hi by at nite covering him up (not to much) so when he wakes up he has to dig his way out.
but as stubborn as mines is haha he just isnt having it
