New Leopard Keeper

This week took on a young Leopard off a friend, has been kept ok,ish need to sort a few things out, and try and give him better.
Has had a mixed diet of some weeds, and grass but never grazed, has been wormed, had uv and heat He is in a box with combined uv/heat, and has been in his pen grazing ok.
Question is he/she will not take supplements, have tried flowers, cucumber laced with Nutrobal, and today has stayed in his hide in the box. I know theres a settling in period but need some advice on this one please.
Have been off SW for a while but have been reading some of your posts, will post pics of my 3 Hermans, and my new mate the Leopard, by the way they will never mix.

Leopards can get stressed very easily, don't panic, she/he will need time to settle. Keep putting the supplements on, your new tortie will eat when its ready, till then keep offering food with supplements on, eventually it will be eaten.

Congratulations on becoming a Leopard keeper!

Always take your time when you get a new tortoise. As Laraine has said leopards stress very
easily. Changing diets is a major thing for tortoises. If you put your tortoise outside (when
warm enough) near shelter, I am sure he/she will start to graze.

My first leopard would not eat food with supplements on either - i used to make sure the weeds/grass were washed and still slightly wet - then sprinkle a small amount on and mix it back up again - he used to eat it then. Now he just eats it anyway and he also loves a dirty wettish cuttlefish !!!!!!!!!!!!!

, then he had a few hours in the sun and grazed. He is a bit timid, but i,m realy glad to see it.
Question, is the temperature of the bathing water any differant to my Hermans, does it need to be warmer than tepid
Also can any one guess his age, the history is, the person i got him off owned him for a year, he bought him from a pet shop

His lengh is 12cms, weight is 321gms

1 Leopard 3 Hermans

I have a 8" female Leopard who is 8 yrs old and a 12" female Leopard who is 4 yrs old - so I wouldn't judge the age by size !!! Did the petshop not know how old he was when they sold him to the previous owner?

Laraine or Terry may be able to advise you if it is possible to age a Leopard though

I bath mine in warm water but they hate the bath so they dont stay in for long !!
