Default How do you pronounce tortoise?

People pronounce the word tortoises 2 ways, either tort-oys or tort-us..... I personally say tort-us... There is no right or wrong way to say it but I was just wondering how others pronounce it?
Thanks

I think the scots way is tor-toys. I say that just so the locals understand me.
