Aldabra Giant Tortoise
Well I've done it....I've gotten something I've always dreamed of having, a true king of the tortoises, one of the largest tortoises in the world and a living dinosaur, the Aldabra Giant Tortoise.
Here he/she is taking a bath. At only 2 years of age, this tortoise will probably out-live me and my kids It's already 7 and 3/4" but I'm going to make sure it has a nice, slow, smooth, natural growth. I don't need it to become a 500 pound monster overnight! I haven't named it just yet but I soon will. |
