I said THINK with your head, you feel with your heart.
If you let your heart rule your head, your tortoises can end up fat and unhealthy.

that applies to all animals and even our children, its why many are fat and spoilt, you always have to stand back and look objectively if not you can't see or notice any problems including weight gain. Don't they say love is blind so yes love your animals but think as well, those appealing eyes wanting titbits don't always know whats good for them.

Oh well...

Sorry to back track a bit and go back to dogs...

The other morning I had all 3 tortoises on the floor in their baths while I was getting ready for work...

Left the room for just a second and came back to find Buzz drinking Teabags bath water!

Poor Tea was a bit scared, but not enough to stop her eating breakfast...

But had Buzz been so inclined I would never have seen her again!

I am lucky, despite being a food obsessed terrier if it is alive she doesn't see it as food!
But loves bathwater (although Tea is not having baths on the floor unless I stay in the room just in case)
